Welcome to the South East Calgary Community Resource Centre
Founded in 2001, the Resource Centre is located in the heart of Ogden and has been serving the families and individuals of Calgary for 22 years.
ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Rise Calgary to deliver enhanced services and programs to families and individuals in need of support. This partnership will enable us to sustain our existing offerings while also expanding and enriching the range of services we provide.
South East Calgary Community Resource Centre (SECCRC) will officially become part of Rise Calgary on February 1st.
In the Spirit of acknowledgement and recognition of the truth, SE Calgary Community Resource Centre and Rise Calgary respects and acknowledges the traditional territories, oral practices, and the history of the Blackfoot (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai), the Tsuut’ina (Sarcee), the Stoney Nakota (Chiniki, Wesley, and Bearspaw) First Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3) peoples. We live, work, grow, play, and appreciate this beautiful territory as we are all treaty people.
About Us
The Resource Centre is a part of the Millican Ogden Community Association. It started as a small volunteer organization and has since expanded into a multi-service agency, offering assistance and support to thousands of people in Calgary each year. This transformation was made possible by the vision of community members, the dedication of volunteers, support from generous companies and government funding, making the resource center a vital source of aid and optimism for Calgarians in need.
The Resource Centre receives funding from Family and Child Social Service, United Way, Calgary Foundation, Alberta Provincial Government, RISE Calgary, ICANFORKIDS and private donors.
